Beach and Park Concerns

We have heard your concerns about the safety and cleanliness of the Viridian Beach. We will be installing more trash cans in the next few weeks. In addition, we added Sunday to our regular beach cleaning schedule. Security patrols will be onsite Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 5 p.m. to midnight. Finally, the board is considering the installation of no parking signs on the resident side of the road, across from the beach. We hope this will help eliminate traffic congestion in the area.

The beach has been closed for routine maintenance this week, but will reopen today, in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Viridian MMD is fortunate to have a number of parks and playgrounds within our boundaries. The parks are there for everyone’s enjoyment. Our parks are not designed for baseball, softball, or golf, however. For the safety of all park visitors, please refrain from ball sports in our parks and common areas. Check the City of Arlington’s Park Finder for a list of parks with ball fields. Also, please remember that dogs must be on leashses at all times.

Let’s keep our common areas clean and safe for everyone!
