Viridian Beach and Parks
Spring has sprung and Viridian is in bloom! Unfortunately the nice weather means the return of spring and summer beachgoers. To help keep the Viridian Beach a safe and enjoyable place, we would like to remind everyone that the following rules are in effect for all Viridian public spaces:
- No loud music
- No grilling
- No outside vendors
- No foul language
- No bounce houses
- Appropriate attire is required at all times
- No large gatherings (groups larger than 10 people)
Park hours are 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Please immediately notify the VMMD of any unsanctioned events.
Security patrols will be onsite to help enforce the rules.
The VMMD may grant use of our facilities for certain special events and large gatherings (more than 10 people). Interested parties should submit requests in writing to the VMMD at least 90 days prior to the proposed event. To be considered, requests must include proof of insurance with the VMMD listed as a named insured and comply with all City of Arlington Parks & Recreation guidelines and permitting requirements.
