Rules

Viridian MMD’s amenities are designed for the enjoyment of all. The following rules are in effect at all times:

Park hours are 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • No vehicles
  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No smoking or use of tobacco products
  • No weapons, except as permitted by law
  • No loud music
  • No grilling or fires
  • No glass containers
  • No outside vendors or solicitation
  • No foul language
  • No bounce houses
  • Appropriate attire is required at all times
  • No swimming, except in designated areas
  • No fishing, except in designated areas
  • No large gatherings (groups larger than 15 people)

The VMMD may grant use of our facilities for certain special events and large gatherings (more than 15 people). Interested parties should submit requests in writing to the VMMD at least 90 days prior to the proposed event. To be considered, requests must include proof of insurance with the VMMD listed as a named insured and comply with all City of Arlington Parks & Recreation guidelines and permitting requirements.
