Following the resignation of Director Valerie Landry, the Board of Directors of the VMMD approved a process to solicit applicants to serve the remainder of her term, expiring in May 2026.

Interested residents are encouraged to submit an application. Candidates will then be invited to a special meeting of the Board where the remaining Directors will meet with the candidates and make a selection for recommendation to Arlington City Council.
