This news post summarizes the key topics discussed and decisions made during the Viridian MMD Board of Directors meeting on October 13, 2026.

Infrastructure & Maintenance

Irrigation & Well Maintenance: The Board approved an irrigation pump and well maintenance schedule to help reduce overall maintenance and repair costs. 

Median Upgrades: Median upgrade contracts for Viridian were approved with a notice to proceed.

North Collins Street Lights: The stop light poles for North Collins are expected to arrive in November.  Note:  Since the meeting, installation of poles has begun and is ongoing.

Meadow Hawk Sidewalk: Construction on the Meadow Hawk sidewalk is nearing completion.

Budget & Committees

2027 Budget: The Board held preliminary discussions on property valuation changes for the 2027 budget. Board members will vote on the final budget in December.

Committee Appointments: New committee appointments were established. Committee chairs will be appointed for community relations, communications, and budget/finance/audit.

Supplemental PID Report: A supplemental PID report on outstanding developer reimbursement, as of September 30, is in preparation.

Community Amenities & Projects

Artist Garden: Stone wall repairs in the artist garden were approved.

Nature Preserve: The Board will review nature preserve improvement plans to initiate public bidding before the next meeting.

Quad Parking: An open session on quad parking is scheduled for October 27. A quad project questionnaire will go out to residents via the district website and Facebook page.

Park Signage: Signage bids are being sought for the park named in honor of Carl Bergauer.

Winterization Services: A services proposal will be put out for bid to help maintain Viridian streets during winter weather events.

The next Board meeting for Viridian MMD will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at noon.
